  10. vdl1996 says:

This environment would be really scary, there’s like no dry wood anywhere.

  11. vdl1996 says:

@CuddlesMcT Cody hasn’t worn shoes in 25 years. And rule number 1 is NOT protection. But his feet are tough enough to withstand alot

  12. CuddlesMcT says:

Why does one of them NOT wear shoes? Thats like rule number one: Protection.

  13. pinoyhellahoy says:

did he just say celcius? wow, thats new.

  14. Rhinoch8 says:

Don’t forget the “gun and run” Dave versus the hippy doohoo Cody is all about show.
Anyway i read Cody’s books and they are great!

  15. buyerofsorts says:

If I had to choose a guy to survive with, it would definetly be Cody. Hes more level headed and a thinker. Dave is just all gun ho and takes silly risks. But if he were alone and in a real survival situation I highly doubt he would do what he does. I think the show is great and I think both guys are killer in their own way. They really make for a good team and a good show.

  16. Nhzharuthopar says:

lol @ cody wearing shoes in the beginning.

  17. kendalself says:

When I first heard about this, I thought I would HATE Cody, because they hyped him as a super hippy dude. But now that I have seen several episodes, I absolutely LOVE Cody! Of course, I like the total Bad Assness of Dave way too much to call Cody a favorite lol. Hands down my most favorite survival series on TV

  18. nmotiontravelguide says:

@raamah313 I agree. Discovery did an amazing job on this series. Longer survival would be great. The voice over is pretty funny, but yea i’d like to hear them speak more and show the complex things Dave has on his channel like boiling water with hot ricks. That’s cool. BTW, Cody is very funny with his metaphors and when he’s mad at Dave.lol

  19. enjoythewildUSA says:

This by far was my favorite dual survival. Dave’s skill in making the arrow and arrowhead and then hunting down the turkey with a voice call and improvised cammo was about the most skill and cool think that I have ever seen.

  20. WolfTheMadMan says:

This episode was pretty entertaining to me since i grew up near that very forest and since none of them really have much northern rain forest experience. I don’t think they did that bad for being rain forest nubs.

  21. CaIlidus says:

How come that guy doesn’t wear shoes or pants for that matter lol

  22. tgm09 says:

“darkest, wettest forest” thats what she said ;p

  23. antagonizerr says:

Oh right, this is the one where Dave chases down the only turkey to ever not run when being hunted (ahem tied ahem). Did that arrow even come close to hitting it???? Then Dave somehow ‘found’ an antler tine, and broken bottle right in the middle of nowhere. Lucky he had the bow as well without any arrows. lolz. Add this to the ‘lucky finds’ in other episodes and we can rename them Dave Grylls and Bear Lundin. hahaha

  24. ridah925 says:

    I dont make donuts LMAO

  25. clubtc05 says:

@raamah313 Same here buy I dont think a few months they should do like a week in all climates like one week in the snow and one week in the forest…
