For more Dual Survival adventures, check out: dsc.discovery.com Cody uses a plastic sheet, mylar blanket and clever physics to impress Dave with a toasty winter shelter.

@huntman125 He’s fucking boss.
listen Bear grylls has some survival skills But he “IS NOT a survival expert”…he is not in the class with Dave or even the legendary AboDude- Cody Lundin….
Man vs wild- u may pick up a few tips here/there but if follow Bear Grylls and his craziness you’ll probably end up dead and that’s a fact! the only thing going for Grylls is his stunts! tv is all about ratings and Bear knows that….
@TerryMMA85 lol
If these dudes are badass what about the guy holding the camera?
@osgkar “WE call that the Farinheight scale”
If I were as stupid as you, I’d sue my parents.
@actonbath have you seen the muscles on “earth dude”? He’ll could probably snap your neck using just one hand.
@TerryMMA85 lmao gross
That was amazing what he was able to produce with such minimal materials. We have to look at our space craft when looking at this shelter the mylar was developed as a lightweight insulation for use in space craft when we look at the construction of space crarft they use many differnt layers each serving a specific task all hightec lightweight. We look back at all the lives lost to exposure and how this minimalists shelter could have saved their lives. Bravo Cody you rose above it brilliant.
@TerryMMA85 lol
2 man 2 styles one condom
Cody knows his shit when it comes to primitive survival skills thats for sure,
For some reason, just want to strangle “earth dude” with his own pigtails.
Awesome shelter, will have to try that out.
I love this show I really do. What I like is the contrasting (though no entirely conflicting) styles towards survival in nature. But what’s interesting is despite Cody and Dave’s different approaches, alot of the basic [for lack of a better word] survival does and don’ts are really the same. Case in point, as soon as they hit the island they both knew they needed shelter and a fire before nightfall hit. Despite diverging views its amazing just how much they are on the same page.
Is cody gay?
Bush hippie rocks! Both these guys do, just in different ways. And since this kind of show needs a little conflict, Dave’s curmudgeony ways keep it interesting.
@5tonyvvvv I don’t feel there is any need to run Dave Canterbury down, as an outdoorsman and teacher he deserves as much respect as Cody Lundin, his concerns about the lack of shoes etc.are genuine and understandable, and after all this clash of cultural styles is part of what makes the show worth watching.
@murphalot13 Dave is a army military trained asshole..ive been to codys school this man can survive any where..with no shoes steel tools nothing!!!!!!…the same way native americans did it..just living off the land..
@5tonyvvvv just wait til the rest of episodes are shown, ur gonna regret sayin that, mr tony tough guy
Dave is a Fuckin punk..
dave is an asshole…cody is the real deal.
dave needs to lose his ego and modern age bad attitude
@caveman69100
Dave has commented on his Facebook about how he considers Cody a brother now. They got along great.
That super shelter concept is absolutely awesome.
I am so f-ing stoked about this show.
so looking forward to this show! cody and dave are both experts whom i admire. nothing fake about those two guys! P.S. please cancel man vs wild.
@mlxp Really – you got that opinion from what – a few video clips! Bear is only entertaining because he attempts suicide in very episode. This show will actually teach you something, unlike Man Vs. Wild where he shows you almost the same thing in every episode. Yes Bear, we know you can dive into freezing water, and start a fire with sparks – well done.
I spent over a week in the arizona high desert with cody lundin in the late 90s. he knows his stuff for sure. and he taught me alot about wilderness survival…. he is the real deal….
