Thole: Horsin’ around is serious business in Lexington
The thought crossed my mind that even though I’m not a big fan of horse racing, I should at least know something about the sport before I invest my fortune on a thoroughbred – plus the fact that a lot of people from our area are actually in the racing game.

Marblehead Tuesday A woman on Schooner Ridge complained at 9:55 a.m. that a group of four well-dressed, middle-aged people came to her door. “She told them they can’t be going door to door,” according to the police report, “and they told her they can do whatever they want.” The four were revealed to be Jehovah’s Witnesses.
